Partner with Best Days to Fish

We are looking for a small number of early partners who want to reach anglers at the moment they are planning a trip.

What this site is

Best Days to Fish grades every day A+ to F for any US location, using water temperature, weather, barometric pressure, streamflow, tides and solunar timing. The factor weights come from published fisheries research rather than folklore, and every weight is published, which is not true of the calendars we compete with.

It is free, it needs no account, and it pulls live water-quality data from USGS and NOAA that typical moon-phase calendars do not use at all.

Who reads it

Anglers deciding when to go

Almost all of our traffic arrives on a planning question: which days this month are worth taking off work. That is the moment before a trip, when gear and destination decisions are still open.

US-first, and mobile-first

The forecast only covers US locations and the great majority of readers are in the US and Canada. Four out of five arrive on a phone, most often early morning or the evening before a trip.

Growing fast from a small base

We are early. Search traffic and AI assistant citations have both grown steeply over the past year, and we would rather work with a partner now, at early-stage terms, than wait until the numbers are impressive.

Current as of September 2026. Ask us for the full breakdown and we will send search-console and analytics figures with the dates they were pulled.

What we are open to

  • A named sponsor. One brand, credited plainly, in a placement we design together so it reads as useful rather than pasted on.
  • Tournaments and events. We can build a calendar around a tournament series or a season, and hand out printable calendars for an event.
  • Data and tooling. If you run a shop, a guide service or an app, talk to us about putting the forecast in front of your own audience.

What is never for sale

The scores are the product, and their only value is that nobody paid for them. So, permanently:

  • No sponsor influences a grade, a ranking, or a recommendation.
  • The forecast stays free and complete. Nothing moves behind a sponsor or a paywall.
  • Sponsorship is always labelled as sponsorship. No advertorial dressed up as a recommendation.
