Pre-spawn (7 species)
Northern Pike, Black Sea Bass, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Rainbow Trout, Flounder feed hard before spawning in March, and our scoring raises their activity by up to 1.40x. Look for northern pike on marshy shallows 2-5 ft.
Spawning (1 species)
Rainbow Trout spawn during March. Fish on beds are harder to tempt, so our grades apply a spawn-lockout penalty. Target pre-spawn and post-spawn species instead, or fish deeper staging areas nearby.
